Graphic Design Internship:
Interns will work on more than one project at the SPYS Studio, often with deadlines that must be met. Consequently, all interns are expected to attend a weekly intern staff meeting in order to communicate and stay on schedule with their assigned tasks.

Graphic Design Intern responsibilities include:
Designing Graphics for Websites with Photoshop
Designing Graphics for Video with Photoshop
Image Editing using Photoshop
Logo Conception and Print material design
Strong knowledge of Photoshop
SPYS STUDIO
Designing graphics for TV Shows, Commercials, Feature Films and other AD Work.
Answering Phones, Typing, Filing, advanced e-mail techniques, basic math skills and computer skills.
Attend a weekly intern staff meeting

The appropriate candidate must be willing to learn and take directions well. Willing to learn multi-media software and strive to be excellent at each project and assignment. A good candidate will look and behave professionally and be on time and reliable.
Interns should have a good knowledge of the software listed below.  It is not necessary to be an expert at all of them.  

+ Illustrator
+ Quark Xpress
+ Microsoft Office / IBM Environment
+ In Design
+ Photoshop

APPLICANT MUST BE VERY GOOD AT PHOTOSHOP
Job Requirements:
* Can pass a drug test
* Can work 12 - 20 hours a week, occasional weekends when needed.
* Can lift 25 pounds
* Has reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
* Good organization skills
* Understands and meets time lines and due dates
* Be able to listen and perform to creative direction
* Must be a team player - working well with others

Time Commitment: 12-20 hours per week (must have a regular schedule), 200 hours per semester (or as specified by your school's curriculum)  Intern is required to allocate most of their internship time during afternoons, evenings and some Saturdays.

Deadlines:
Spring Application -- January 15
Summer Application -- May 1
Fall Application -- September 25
