Interns will also assist in other aspects of Television and Video Production for Broadcasting. The appropriate candidate must be willing to learn and take directions well. Willing to learn multi-media software and strive to be excellent at each project and assignment. A good candidate will look and behave professionally and be on time and reliable.
Interns should have a good knowledge of some of the software listed below. It is not necessary to be an expert at all of them or to have any experience with any of them.
+ Adobe After Effects
+ Photoshop
+ Adobe Premiere
+ Microsoft Word
Job Requirements:
* Can pass a drug test
* Can work 12 - 20 hours a week, occasional weekends when needed.
* Can lift 25 pounds
* Has reliable transportation and a valid drivers license
* Good organization skills
* Understands and meets time lines and due dates
* Be able to listen and perform to creative direction
* Must be a team player - working well with others
Interns should have experience in at least one of the categories below:
Camera Operation
Non-linear editing
Production Assisting
Computer Animation
Photoshop
Computer/data management Skills
Graphic Design
Time Commitment: 12-20 hours per week (must have a regular schedule), 200 hours per semester (or as specified by your school's curriculum).
Qualifications: Study in one of the listed degree programs or similar program: Mass Communications, Radio & TV broadcasting, Film Production, Media Production, Journalism.
